The Edison Pearl is named after Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison had more than 2,000 inventions, but there were two things he could not create in the laboratory - pearls and diamonds. While Zhan Weijian, president of Grace Pearls, in partnership with Zhejiang University were not able to actually create a pearl, they were able to perfect the cultivation process used to create these amazingly stunning pearls.
